The Rwanda
High Commission in Ottawa - Canada wishes to recruit a suitable candidate
for a post of part time webmaster/computer technical.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Design
the High Commission website;
- Day to
day maintenance of the High Commission website
Web log files analysis
- Recognition
for specific and significant changes to the website’s content
- Hands-on
experience with browser compatibility issues and web accessibility standards
- Troubleshoot
and address front end issues with current web applications
- Good
organizational and communication skills; attention to details
A cooperative and collaborative spirit
- Working
knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
Experience designing HTML emails, banner ads and websites
Competencies:
- Professionalism
- Knowledge
in web design
- IT and
computer techniques
- Ability
to maintain internet service, establish computer network connection,
identify soft and hardware problems.
Education:
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related field,
or equivalent work experience
Languages:
Fluency
in spoken and written English and French. Excellent knowledge of Kinyarwanda
is an asset.
